BMC Women’s Bowling finishes season at MSC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Blue Mountain College Women’s Bowling team finished up its season here this weekend at the MSC Championship.

In singles, 93 women convened at the event, and Blue Mountain’s leader was Ashlan Williams (FR/Mantachie, Miss.) who finished 53rd.

Taylor Dawe (FR/New Albany, Miss.) was 73rd, Kara Kelly (JR/Pontotoc, Miss.) was 89th, Caitlyn Kelly (SO/Pontotoc, Miss.) was 91st and Maria Favela was 93rd.

In doubles, there was a total of 43 teams.  Taylor Dawe ad Ashlan Williams finished 31st and Kara Kelly and Caitlyn Kelly were 43rd.

“I’m so proud of our ladies and how they competed this season,” BMC head coach Creighton Nelms said.  “Women’s bowling has really taken off over the last few years and there are some strong teams our girls got to compete against.  I saw great progression throughout the year, and I suspect we’ll continue.”
